Old Gold - Is a reference to U.S. gold coins of the 1930s and earlier. These would include the $20 Liberties and Saint Gaudens, $10 Liberties and Indians, the $5 Liberties and Indians and the $2.5 Liberties and Indians. These coins were 90% gold to make them more durable for commercial use. Today, these coins are highly collectible. The $20 Saint Gaudens is the most treasured design of any U.S. coin ever minted and has been used on the Walking Liberty Half Dollar and the modern Silver Eagle bullion coin.
